2008 - 2009 MEN’S BASKETBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION

A
spot is only guaranteed to the returning teams who return their team entry form
and fee. Each team cannot have more than
four (4) Type ‘C’ players. If your team
is not planning on coming back, please contact Steve Birney (414) 773-2911 and
let him know. Return the team entry form, team fee, team roster and player fees to the
Wauwatosa Recreation Department.

Teams who played in the
leagues in the previous year but wish to switch nights may do so on a
first-come-first-serve basis for all available openings. Teams must first register during Returning
Team Registration. Return
the team entry form, team fee, team roster and player fees to the Wauwatosa
Recreation Department.

Registration for new teams
will be taken on a first-come-first-serve basis for all available openings. New
teams may not register if they have more than four (4) Type ‘C’ players.
Team
Eligibility
Team
rosters may consist of as many Type ‘A’ and ‘B’ players with a limit of four
(4) Type ‘C’ players.
Church
League teams will not be restricted
in the number of Type ‘C’ players they register. However, all
Type ‘C’ players must meet the eligibility rules for church league
participation, which states that team participants (Type ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’
players) must be active members of the church for which they are playing. New players, that were not included on last
year’s roster, must have their player card signed by the pastor.
Proof
of Residency
Players
may be asked to provide proof of residency.
Proof of residency can be provided as follows:
If
proof of residency cannot be validated, the player in question will be listed
as a Non-Resident (Type ‘C’ player).

Adult
Basketball Team Meeting – Monday, October 20 at 6:30pm
There
must be at least one member of each team in attendance of this meeting. The meeting will be held at
League Games Tentative Start Dates

Whitman – October 23
There
is the possibility for conflicts with school programs and athletic events,
which may alter the schedule. This is why it is important to fill out your
team contract completely.
