How do I
apply online?
To apply online, go to the Part-time
Employment Opportunities page and click on the Online Application
link, or click on the Online Application link at the top of this page. What
if I stop the online application and want to come back to it later?
Your application is not saved until you click the final SUBMIT
button. If you do not complete the online application, you can begin
again later. What
if I make a mistake on the Online Application and click the SUBMIT button?
Start over and
re-submit an Online Application. If the change is a minor one,
contact the Recreation Department, (414) 773-2900, and we will make the
change for you. I
would like to apply for more than one position. What should I do?
Complete the Online Application for your first choice(s) of positions.
You may select up to 3 positions. If you would lkie to apply for
more than 3 positions, submit a second application, or contact the
Recreation Department, and we will add the positions to your application
for you. Can I
check on the status of my application after it is submitted?
Contac the Recreation Department by email or call (414) 773-2900 during
business hours. Do
I need a work permit? Where do I obtain a work permit?
If you are under 18, you will need to apply for a work permit. Go
the Guidance Office at your high school. You will need a form from
the Recreation Department, stating type of work, and work hours, as well
as your social security card. Does
the Recreation Department require any additional forms or letters of
reference?
Student applicants (high school) must provide the department with two
letters of recommendation, preferably from school personnel (teachers,
counselors, administrators), or past/present employers. Submit these
letters via U.S. mail, or as email attachments (.doc, .rtf, or .pdf files
