The Wauwatosa Recreation Department's Summer Playground Program is comprised of supervised activities for children kindergarten through eighth grade (grade completed) who attend a public or parochial school in Wauwatosa. Register at your area playground (all public elementary schools except Madison, and Webster Park) on Thursday, June 14 or Friday, June 15, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.
The fee for Summer Playground is $21.00 per child. All Friday field trips require additional fees for buses and programs.
The 2nd - 8th grade program is a DROP-IN activity; children are allowed to come and go as they please. While on the playground, they will be encouraged to participate in on-going, supervised activities. A safe, supervised environment will be provided; however, the program should not be considered an alternative for individual child care.

You can still sign up at any playground during regular playground hours!

 

WONDER KIDS Open to children in K4 - 1st grade (completed). Meets on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Activities include active games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and scheduled field trips.

GENERAL PLAYGROUND Open to children in 2nd - 8th grades (completed) Meets Monday - Thursday 12:30 - 4:15 p.m. Fridays are "all city" field trips (times vary)

• Detailed schedules for playground activities will be available at each location on a weekly basis.
  
• If it is actively raining, all playground activities will be canceled at that time and will resume when the weather clears.
