Welcome to the Wauwatosa Senior Club!

As a member, you are entitled to enjoy any of the great activities planned for the coming months, along with the added benefits of meeting new people and developing lasting friendships. 

Monthly calendars are available in the literature rack at the Club.  

The meeting room is conveniently located in the Wauwatosa Civic Center, 7725 West North Avenue, and is easily accessible from the parking lot.

Monthly, informal book discussions.  Upcoming titles include:

Speakers & Special Events
Enjoy special themed luncheons and/or entertainment at the Senior Club.
September 26: AARP representative, Charles Kurtz, will speak about health care reform in Wisconsin.
October 10: Enjoy the Swinging Seniors, a dance group of 15 - 18 members, who will delight you with a variety of dances.
October 31: Club Halloween Party and BINGO! Don’t forget your costume!
November 7: Treat yourself to a presentation on FICTION by the Wauwatosa Public Library.
November 14: Mary Steinbrenner will entertain you with voice and guitar as she performs a variety of old time and original pieces.

Senior Club Trips
The Tosa Senior Club enjoys monthly trips. Upcoming Trips include:

September 18: Tour Milwaukee’s Jewish Museum, a collection of archived photographs, artifacts, oral histories and pieces of Milwaukee Jewish history. Enjoy lunch at Lake Park Bistro.

October 16: Travel to New Glarus, America’s “Little Switzerland” and visit the Golden Fleece Museum. Dine in the New Glarus Hotel Dining Room and shop the quaint European stores for treasures! Watch a cheese fondue demonstration and delight in some Swiss entertainment. Participate in an optional tour to the New Glarus Brewing Company (limit of 20 participants for Brewery tour).

December 11: Enjoy a luncheon and Christmas in the Country at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva.

Cards and Games
Join the best card and game players in town!  Play bridge, Sheepshead, 500!, Spite and Malice, Crazy Eights, Rummy and cribbage.
Games every Tuesday and Wednesday.  New players welcome!  Sheepshead lessons, monthly Bingo, and Scrabble.

Senior Aerobic Exercise
Senior Club members only
Join any time!  New members are always welcome!
Join instructor Sue Voigt for an exercise program specially designed for older adults.  Sue challenges the experienced and helps beginners get started on a path to physical fitness. Increase your strength and flexibility, balance and coordination with this low-impact cardiovascular workout.
Participants my opt to add a twenty-minute workout using 1 lb. hand weights.  It is recommended that you consult your doctor before participating in the class.

Fridays, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Yearly Dues:
$10 'Tosa Resident/ $15 All others
