Little Sports Explorer -- A Parent & Child Class
Ages 3 - 6
This parent/child program is designed to introduce your little aspiring athlete to a new sport or game each week.  Using modified sports-related games, focus will be on basic athletic skills, socialization and fun!!

Mount Mary All-Sport Camp - NEW in Summer '07
Boys & Girls, Grades 2 - 8 (completed)
This unique All-Sports Camp offers instruction in 8 sports.  Select one sport to be your "major".  Spend a total of 2.5 hours each day receiving intensive training in the finer techniques of that sport from highly qualified instructors.  In addition, you will select up to two "minor" sports and receive at least 1.5 hours of training per day in each.  Choose from baseball/softball, basketball, volleyball, cross country (minor only), golf (minor only), soccer, football (non-tackle, co-ed).

High School Soccer - Pre-Season Conditioning Camp
Grades 8 - 11 (grade completed)
Through 4 training sessions, players will get ready to meet the technical tactical and physical demands of boy's high school soccer season.

Trojan Soccer Academy
Grades K4 - 7 (grade completed)
The focus is on individual skills.  Participate in exciting competitions, contests and drills that will raise your skill level.  Small groups of players will meet with experienced coaches to maximize instruction and encourage creativity.

Volleyball Camps (Summer)
Whether you play on a competitive team or just for fun, volleyball camp is for you!  Learn and practice the skills and strategies involved in the game of volleyball.

Fastpitch Softball Camp for Girls (Summer)
Experience the fastest-growing girls' sport.  Work on all aspects of the game:  hitting, throwing, fielding, base-running, position play and strategy.

Trojan Football Camp (Summer)
West High's head football coach, Ben Veit, and his staff invite you to have fun learning the many aspects of football in an atmosphere of teamwork and challenge.  Fundamental instruction in offensive, defensive, and special teams to develop you skills.  Physical training such as flexibility, agility, strength and speed will also be introduced.

Baseball Camp (Summer)
MATC
's head baseball coach and former major-leaguer Frank Cimorelli, and his staff invite you to have fun learning the many aspects of baseball.  Work on hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, position play and strategy.

My First Soccer Coerver Academy
Grades K4 - 2
An introduction to soccer for the beginning player.  Emphasis is on skills, techniques and teamwork.  All equipment is provided.

Youth Soccer Academy II
Grades 3 - 5 and 6 - 8
Designed for the soccer player who wants to sharpen skills and cultivate a passion for the game.  Fitness and skill training will be included in this camp.  Small sided games will be conducted.  All equipment is provided.

Basketball Camps (Summer)
Grades K5 - 11 (completed)
Have fun and make new friends while learning the fundamentals of basketball.  Work on dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding and team play.  Drills, contests and games will combine to make this camp a fine learning experience.

Summer-Long Skills League (Basketball) (Summer)
Grades 6 - 11 (completed)
Combine instruction, skills, practice and tactics during league play.

3-on-3 Basketball League (Instructional) (Summer)

Got softball fever?  Can't wait for summer?  Dust off your glove and join spring training for t'ball!  Learn the fundamentals of throwing, hitting, base running and team play before the start of the summer league season!

Soccer Camp For Girls and Boys

Designed for the beginning and intermediate player, this camp will allow coaches to work closely with participants to develop soccer skills to their maximum potential.  Drills and games will be combined to provide an enjoyable learning experience.

My First Soccer Academy
Grades K4 - 2 (completed)
An introduction to soccer for the beginning player.  Emphasis is on skills, techniques and teamwork.  The Academy uses the Dutch teaching methods to improve players' individual skills.

Youth Soccer Academy II
Grades 3 - 8 (completed)
This Dutch program is designed for the soccer player who wants to sharpen skills and cultivate a passion for the game.  Fitness and skill training will be included.  Same-sided group play will be conducted.

Advanced Elite Half Day
Grades 6 - 11 (completed)
This competitive program is designed for club or experienced players.  Emphasis is on speed of play and to develop confidence with the ball.  Small combination of plays of wall passes, overlaps and take overs.

Strength & Speed Camp (Summer)
Grades 6 - 12 (completed)
No matter what sport you participate in, or what level you're at, there's always a need for strength and speed.  Develop a positive mental attitude toward strength work and help improve speed through proper training.  Receive age-specific principles and techniques in basic strength and speed training including:  muscle isolation work, exercise technique and sequence, strength and balance development, acceleration, lateral quickness, foot speed, stride length and frequency, flexibility, plyometrics and safety procedures.  There will be no heavy lifting.

Start Smart Basketball
A Parent & Child Class
Grade 1
Learn and practice the basic motor skills necessary to play organized basketball.  Focus on dribbling/ball handling skills, shooting, passing/catching, and running agility, without the threat of competition or the  fear of getting hurt.

Circuit Basketball 
Grade 2
Second grade girls and boys will be introduced to basketball skills and game play.  Smaller-sized balls and special hoops, lowered to a suitable height for you players, help teach proper form, even a young ages.  Practice dribbling, ball handling, shooting, lay ups, passing, and learn the rules of the game.

Wrestling
Grades 2 - 5
Learn the techniques involved in the sport of amateur wrestling.  Practices include basic and advanced wrestling skills instruction, wrestling games and lie matches.  Wrestlers will be prepared for local tournaments.

Wrestling (Middle School)
Interested in learning more about the sport of wrestling, or looking for a way to get a head start on your Middle School wrestling season?  This is for you!  Emphasis is on preparing for local tournaments.  Coaches will be available at the tournaments; tournament participation is encouraged but optional.
