WARP ~
Wauwatosa Area Running Program
Grades 6 - 11 (completed)
Whether you want to run for fitness, fun or speed,
the Wauwatosa Area Running Program is for you! Designed for middle-and
high-school runners of all ability levels, WARP will each proper
"long" distance/cross country running techniques, lifetime fitness
skills and nutrition in a fun and social setting. Set goals to help
monitor progress with an active running log.

Track Club
Grades 2 - 7 (grade completed)
Sprint into action this summer and join the Wauwatosa Track Club!
Register with a friend and try the various track and field events with
state-of-the-art equipment (overspeed bungies, step hurdles, plyo boxes and
more!) and at a NEW facility! Training is good for all sports.
Experienced coaches will be on hand to teach proper techniques. We
will travel to the Milwaukee County Zoo to run the trails. Informal
competitions with other communities will also be organized.
Participants will hear from guest speakers throughout the program.
Wauwatosa Track
Club - High School
Grades 8 - 12 (grade completed)
This new program emphasizes the fundamentals of technique for a number of
track and field events, for beginners through elite athletes. Get the
best coaching and equipment available today for pole vault, long/triple
jumps, high jump, shot/discus, short sprints, long sprints, mid-distance and
distance training. Camp staff will include veteran coaches, Division I
college track-field athletes and recent Tosa West grads with an immense
amount of track and field experience. few programs offer this much for
the high school athlete.

June 23, 2007 - State Meet in West Allis
Register: Registration will take place Monday thru Friday, April 23 - May14 at
the Wauwatosa Recreation Department between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
A COPY OF THE PARTICIPANT’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED.
Age Divisions - Boys and Girls:
9 & 10 year olds (born in 1998 or 1999)
11 & 12 year olds (born in 1996 or 1997)
13 & 14 year olds (born in 1994 or 1995)
*Events:
9 & 10 year olds - 50, 100, 200 & 400 meter dash; 4 x 100 meter relay; standing long jump; softball throw
11 & 12 year olds - 100, 200 & 400 meter dash; 800 meter run; 4 x 100 meter relay; standing long jump; softball throw
13 & 14 year olds - 100, 200 meter dash; 800 & 1,600 meter run; 4 x 100 meter relay; standing long jump; softball throw
